What a stupid question....Of course if you are able to play a game you have been looking forward to, it will either sway you one way or the other to buy or leave it if you can play it to get the only true way to experience whether a game is worth your hard earned cash or not.
As well as sometimes playing a demo of a game you may never have heard of, or been interested in can force your hand into buying one of these "out of left field" gems.

This game was waaay over rated. I bought it for 360 thinking it would be awesome mainly due to the fact it was developed by Remedy, and Max Payne was a true classic. Big deal. Just means they are making Australian retail suffer, as many as well as myself will order the game from overseas. And China/Hong Kong are the ones who are already offering these games for sometimes half what Aussie retail chains charge. I buy from both, as I couldn't afford to buy all my games from Australian stores, that at best offer a new title for $79, but in most cases are $89 or $99.
I was also looking forward to Bulletstorm, & after playing the demo was sold, and couldn't wait to play online deathmatches against 16 to 24 other real players.
That was until I read yesterday that the game does not support online multiplayer versus modes. Just a crappy 4 player online horde mode.

Why couldn't they have just incorporated this tech into the Playstation phone? I would have more easily bought one this way, & I think it would have moreso insured there success.
